My successful construction background led me to obtain my real estate license for Aspen/Snowmass where I was fortunate to be chosen to work with the best real estate team within the entire Aspen Snowmass Valleys. This company was known as “The Snowmass Real Estate Company.” Some of the most successful real estate agents and brokers in the nation started their careers at this prestigious real estate firm. I was surrounded by the best and therefore learned from the best. This environment established my desire and passion to be successful. I was fortunate to experience years of success in Aspen/Snowmass real estate, until the real estate market collapsed in the mid eighties. After living in the mountain valley which had only two seasons (Winter and July), for over sixteen years… in a depressed market, my family and I were ready for a change.
Destiny happened and I was requested to join a small group of entrepreneurs in Oceanside to start a new business. I became the Co Founder of “ California Camiz” and “ Bum Equipment” two very successful clothing companies which we eventually took public, and sold. With money and freedom I immediately, without hesitation went back to my passion …Real Estate. Once again I was fortunate to meet a successful broker who worked for banks and lending institution within the default / foreclosure industry. I absolutely knew this was for me.
Success was not immediate, but required tremendous sacrifice for many years, and is still required today. Over twenty years later I have sold thousands of properties, and have a perfect record with the DRE. Integrity is paramount. Prosperity and integrity are on the flip side of the same coin. Strength lies in being connected to the industry, and to one another. My aim as a broker is to align myself with networks, and entities that add value through their network to the default industry and thereby produce the positive charges our industry needs; primarily by connecting and being solution focused. My mindset of being a positive influence within the industry starts first with my own office. This has been the training grounds, the boot camp for success. My team of capable professionals is highly trained in being detail and solution oriented. This experience of training and honing my team as allowed me the freedom to further network and assist other individuals within the industry to do the same.
I am currently co-owner and the President of American Eagle Real Estate Inc. We are a certified Diversity owned and operated business; and ranked within the top fifty real estate teams in the nation by the “Wall Street Journal”. I am presently the residing President of “California Reo Network” known as CREON which is a premiere REO broker network covering the entire state of California. I am also the President of “Short Sale Path” which is a nationwide broker network of successful agents who are experienced in marketing and selling “short sales”, “REO properties”, as well as “traditional real estate”. I am a Founding member of “Reo Connection” which is a nationwide data base of top REO agents and brokers. I am on the Advisory Board for OC NAREB, I am a member of NRBA, ReoMac, and an Executive Advisor for Open Door Institute. I have served on broker advisory councils for banks, and am a requested speaker for conferences, and seminars.
I have been married to my beautiful wife for thirty years. We have two daughters who now work with us at American Eagle Real Estate Inc. We understand the dedication, diligence, and discipline required to be successful, as well as too remain successful in this “not for the faint of heart” default/foreclosure industry.
Aspen and Snowmass Colorado are world famous ski resorts. These mountain communities are also the location of some of the most beautiful homes in the world. This is where I started my career as one of the youngest successful licensed general contractors, building and remodeling numerous prestigious custom homes.
